About the Program

Ideal for Year 10-12 students currently studying Drama, Theatre Studies and Dance, this practical workshop will focus on the body as a tool for performance-making through spatial awareness, ensemble practice, and improvisation. Students will experience performance as embodied practice through dynamic, ensemble-based movement exploration.


What students will experience

  • Explore alignment, breath, and physical control
  • Investigate spatial composition and movement dynamics
  • Apply ensemble techniques including mirroring and group responsiveness
  • Devise short movement sequences through collaborative improvisation
