The Health Taster Day offers a unique opportunity to visit the Inveresk campus in Launceston at the University of Tasmania and engage with staff across multiple disciplines in a day of activities. The day is designed for students in years 9-10 wanting to engage with experts in a range of health related fields and participate in hands on activities in scientific settings.
Students may engage with a selection of disciplines including:
Biomedicine
Psychology
Nursing
Pharmacy
Schools will be capped at bringing 20 students to allow for a range of schools to attend, and teachers must attend with their students. If your students are unable to attend this event or you miss out on a place, there will be more events in the future.
