Introduction
This unit introduces the determinants of health and wellbeing including lifestyle, social, cultural and environmental factors that influence health. You will be introduced to the types of measures used to report health information and the ways in which this information is presented and utilised. You will learn the importance of health measures and develop practical skills required to analyse and present health data. You will examine different methods of assessing human health and apply statistical techniques to analyse, evaluate and interpret heath data, and consider how this information may be used to inform health choices, health policy, and practice.

- Describe the hypothesis testing process, perform statistical tests and interpret results.
