The rapid growth of e-commerce in recent years, coupled with increasing urbanization, has impacted all dimensions of freight logistics and led to a considerable increase in freight movements in urban areas. JNB738 e-Commerce Logistics Management covers various topics including e-commerce business models, omnichannel retailing and distribution network design, urban logistics externalities and operational challenges, improvement initiatives, last-mile delivery models, freight data and modelling, and sustainability in e-commerce logistics. Through case studies and practical applications, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the interconnections between e-commerce logistics and urban freight transport.
