Introduction

In this studio unit students immerse themselves in the social and ecological context of a design challenge. Working with an industry, government or community partner, or with stakeholders identified through their research, students map the system, negotiate a design brief and evaluate alternative design directions. The unit concludes with a mid-year review at which students present the proposition they will develop in KDA431 Advanced Design Studio B.
