Description: A Powerpoint presentation showing a snapshot/examples of a variety of activities the class has undertaken when learning about and raising awareness of how they can improve their health. Many of the activities had an emphasis on group learning and understanding the benefits of good relationships with other students and classes, teachers and members of the community. Students participated in activities such as water safety, designing and performing plays and cooking.
Measures of Success: Creation of relevant & useful photos to use with text. Children can compose meaningful text to explain their learning. Students/Parents from other classes show interest.
