IT Service Desk
The University of Tasmania's IT Service Desk provides support to all staff and students on campus and online
For personal computers (not issued / owned by the University), please ensure that your operating system is up to date.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide support for:
- Apple computers running older than macOS 10.15 Catalina.
- Windows machines running older than 8.1. We recommend you run a current version of Windows 10 or 11.

Face to face assistance (weekdays only): Morris Miller Library (Sandy Bay Campus) & Campus Library (Newnham Campus by arrangement)
Weekdays: 8am to 6pm (6am to 4pm Beijing Time)
Weekends and public holidays: 10am to 1pm (8am to 11am Beijing Time)
Face to face assistance hours are currently 10am to 4pm (Except public holidays & Christmas Break)
