Our 3 specialisations are designed to give you the opportunity to explore the theory and practice of business logistics and supply chain management, business operations and technology in the context of maritime industry. This course will provide you with managerial skills that can be applied to a variety of sectors within the maritime industry.
This course maybe be completed in as little as 1.5 years for those who have completed prior study or work experience in a related area.
The Maritime Logistics specialisation will provide you with an MBA qualification that equips you for managerial careers in business logistics and supply chain management in the context of the maritime industry. The specialisation consists of 4 units - port management and strategy, international trade, business logistics, and supply chain management.
This specialisation is designed to provide engineering professionals with an MBA qualification to develop their management careers in the maritime industry. Your studies will be focuses on the application of technology in the maritime industry and consists of four units - design of marine machinery systems, principles of naval architecture, marine surveying and inspection, and marine superintendency.
The Shipping Operations specialisation is designed to provide professionals working in the maritime industry with an MBA qualification to advance their management careers. The specialisation aims to expand your understanding of shipping operations and related fields, while further developing your managerial skills. Gain advanced shipping operations knowledge through four specialisation units - maritime safety, marine surveying and inspection, port management and strategy, and harbour operations and services.
