Overview

The Indigenous Student Success Program (ISSP) has been introduced by the Federal Government from 1 January 2017. This program combines the Indigenous Support Program, the Commonwealth Scholarships program, and tutorial assistance previously funded through the Indigenous Advancement Strategy, into a single flexible program. The aim of the ISSP is to improve progression and completion rates for Indigenous higher education students and provides universities more flexibility to implement responses that best meet the needs of individual students by providing scholarships, counselling and tutorial assistance, for example. Visit http://www.utas.edu.au/riawunna if you would like further information on these opportunities.
