Overview

This scholarship has been established by Dr Imogen Davies motivated by her commitment to reparation, and in honour of her late father, David W Davies, and her late mother Patricia Davies.

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students with support for their study, led by their own interest and ability, to gain the most rewarding educational experience possible. The scholarship is also structured to provide extended support for students who decide to continue their study, up to an Honours year.

Eligibility

  • This Scholarship is available to a commencing or continuing Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander student undertaking any level of undergraduate study in any discipline at the University.
  • Selection will be based on the applicant's expressed passion and demonstrated commitment for their chosen field of study.
  • Preference will also be given to students with demonstrated financial need and expression of how the scholarship will help them succeed.
  • Students enrolled in a diploma, associate or bachelor's degree are encouraged to apply.
  • Preference will be given to previous recipients of this scholarship who are continuing their study, up to and including Honours years.
