All college students enrolled in this unit are encouraged to be a member of a college band/ensemble or choir. If the student is a composition major, it is advised that they have their works performed and recorded by an appropriate ensemble/performer.
Students who complete FCP113 but do not meet the standard required for a pass result or higher, will be withdrawn from the course without academic penalty - a failure (NN) result is not recorded on the academic transcript.
Introduction
This unit is the first of two University Connections Program music units for year 11/12 students aimed at providing an intensive course of study in performance or composition designed to build skills to allow a successful audition into the Bachelor of Music Degree.
