Our professional skills in practice short courses are designed to develop your work-ready, professional skills and attributes to help launch your professional career.

This suite of courses allows you to enhance your learning journey by choosing from a range of courses such as Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Building Professional Networks, Lean Thinking, Effective Communication Skills and more.   Each course has been designed to take approximately 10 hours to complete, and is fully online.

Meet your instructor

Dr Cherie Hawkins is the course coordinator of the experiential education team at University College, University of Tasmania.

Cherie works collaboratively to ensure all programs within the University College are practice-based, and include hands-on learning, to enable learners to develop a range of employability skills.
