The Tasmanian Youth Science Forum (TYSF) is a program for Year 11 & 12 students with an interest in science, engineering & technology.

Participants will spend three days at the University of Tasmania taking part in a variety of workshops with university researchers and students in everything from zoology and marine studies to chemistry and medical research. Participants will be able to experience real life research projects and visit leading research institutes and laboratories. The TYSF aims to inspire participants to pursue a career in science and innovation. Session will be held between 8.45 am and 7.00 pm daily, finishing earlier on the last day.

Registration: $95 including meals and excursions during the program.
Registration is required, and places are strictly limited, so apply early!

Please note that whilst accommodation is not included, the University may be able to offer suitable accommodation with an approved local homestay family (includes meals and transport to and from the program each day). Contact us for more information.
