  • Steve Henty is the Executive Officer of Cityprom. With a background in change management, communications and organisational development, his role is to bring activation and vibrancy to the CBD through contemporary, evidence-based approaches and place-making.
  • Dr Helen Norrie teaches Architecture in the School of Technology, Environments and Design at the University of Tasmania. She is the coordinator of the Regional Urban Studies Laboratory, a collaborative practice-led urban design research project that engages directly with local councils and communities to examine urban issues in small towns and cities.
  • Hugh McKenzie is a City of Launceston Councillor. Hugh is a retired partner of international advisory and accounting firm KPMG. He was successful in being elected to the Launceston City Council in 2011. Since then he has been a member of the Pedestrian and Bicycle Committee, the last four as Chair. He has a been actively been involved as a recreational cyclist and long-term organiser of the Stan Siejka Launceston Cycling Classic. He strongly believes that preventative health is the key to better health outcomes and currently chairs Primary Health Tasmania.
  • Alison Hetherington is Public Affairs Adviser for Bicycle Network Tasmania. Alison is a communications and campaigns specialist with more than 20 years’ experience in the areas of health, law reform, politics and local government. In her role at Bicycle Network Tasmania and as chair of the Tasmanian Bicycle Council she represents all forms of cycling, from children riding to school to athletes training on roads.

Moderated by Andrew Pitt, business owner and a director of both The Launceston Chamber of Commerce and Cityprom. Andrew has recently worked and consulted for the University of Tasmania on the Northern Transformation's connectivity to the central city.
