Daniel gained a Graduate Diploma of Performance at the University of Tasmania and studied under internationally renowned performers including Professor Jan Sedivka, TSO concert master Jun Yi Ma and Professor Joseph Suk AMU. Daniel was worked alongside Philip Smith to establishing the Camerata Obscura in Launceston in 2010 which he directed until 2016. He is currently the Music Coordinator at Launceston Church Grammar School Primary Campus, an Examiner for the Australian Music Examination Board Tasmania, and member of the Australian Music Teachers Association. Daniel performs regularly around Launceston with various groups and ensembles.
