Whether you want to take exams or not, our syllabuses are a fantastic tool to help you in your journey toward mastery. Each syllabus is supported by various materials, such as technical workbooks and exercises, graded repertoire, teaching resources and more. You can purchase published materials through your favourite local music retailer, or through our AMEB Online Shop. Rockschool and PAA also offer free resources, which can be downloaded from our dedicated, national Rockschool website.
AMEB publications are produced within Australia to the highest editorial standards. They are a cost effective and convenient way to purchase a range of repertoire and to prepare for practical and written exams.
Syllabuses are revised regularly and the process involves an advisory group of esteemed professionals who bring together input from across the country to create consistency across the grades and select appropriate repertoire to best demonstrate the requirements at each level.
