Want to connect with other teachers and resources to expand your knowledge and share your experiences?
You can start by getting social! AMEB's Facebook page has some great tips and resources, so give that a "like" to get started. There's also a group specially for AMEB Rockschool Teachers. Or try our AMEB Federal website, which (apart from being our AMEB Online Shop) holds some handy tips and inspirational content.
Keen to help more students with their exam journey? You could register yourself on our website (visit the Teachers and contacts section below for more). Or ask us about putting an AMEB or AMEB Rockschool logo on your website to let people know that you offer exam tuition.
There are lots of ways to spread the word about your studio. AMEB partners with the Music Teachers' Associations both within Tasmania and nationally. Consider registering with TMTA to connect with new students, network, and stay up to do date with local professional development opportunities. String teachers have their own network, too. AMEB also partner with the Australian Strings Association (AUSTA) both nationally and within Tasmania.
And don't forget that we're here to help. Please don't hesitate to contact the AMEB Tasmania team with any questions about exams, syllabuses, or anything AMEB-related. New to AMEB or want to further your understanding of our syllabuses? We'd like to offer all teachers a one-on-one with the State Manager to chat about whatever you need to help you in your AMEB teaching journey.
