Impact and Engagement

Designing, developing, and evaluating the impact and effectiveness of serious games, virtual and augmented reality experiences, and mobile apps provides significant benefit to the community, while also allowing our research to contribute to the academic body of knowledge regarding design and development principles and best practice in ICT.

Our research seeks to solve problems such as stroke rehabilitation, smoking cessation, drug and alcohol addiction, energy conservation, and early childhood learning, through the development a range of technologies that provide significant benefit to the community. Providing insights of good design and development practice, the team has supported various multidisciplinary teams to build and evaluate projects in many areas of social need.
