Unigym Active Wellbeing Program

Eligible students can receive a free 5 session pass for access to individual and group gym activities.

What is the Active Wellbeing Program?

The Active Wellbeing Program is a partnership between the UniGym and Student Wellbeing and aims to enhance student wellbeing from a whole of life perspective, including physical health and fitness. The program involves an induction session orienting you to the space which will also include a meet and greet with key Unigym contacts that will support you while you access the facility.

Who can access the program?

Current students who are struggling with their mental health, and who are actively engaging with University support to improve wellbeing.

How do I access this program?

If you are already engaged with one of the below support teams at the University of Tasmania you can ask about whether you are eligible for the program. Referrals can be made into the program from the following support providers:

  • University Counselling Service
  • Accessibility Services
  • Safe and Fair Community Unit
  • TUSA Advocates
  • Student Living
  • Student Living referrals are only possible for students with structured wellbeing plans in place.
