π What to expect?
We'll begin at the Hobart CBD (Melville Uni Accommodations), and we will be walking the entire time
Total walking distance is approximately 5 km, following the Linear Park through South Hobart, into the ridges behind Cascade Brewery, and then into Cascade Gardens for a picnic. The exact route can be appropriately adjusted based on your energy level and the conditions of the day

π² 9.00 am – Meet at main entrance of Melville Uni Accommodations, 42 Melville Street
π² 11.30 am – Picnic at Cascade Gardens (BYO lunch)
π² 1.30 pm – Finish at Cascades Brewery (when making your booking, please choose whether you prefer to stay around the Brewery and enjoy at your own pace (returning independently), of if you would like us to arrange transportation back to Hobart CBD (Melville Accommodations) for you)

πΈ Comfortable walking shoes (no sandals and no soft shoes)
πΈ Appropriate clothing for autumn and winter weather (jacket, warm layers, ...)

Only under our UTE program, ticket is $15 for the entire experience (including fully guided interactive tour, and return transportation to Hobart CBD).

He is the Editor of Tasmanian Geographic, former Field Editor for Asian Geographic, and a forest scientist with more than 20 years of experience in Giant Forests.
