Jasmine De Marco and Miffy Wang in Concert

Prizewinning classical instrumentalists Jasmine De Marco (double bass) and Miffy Wang (piano) present a vibrant lunchtime concert of music by Serge Koussevitzky, Béla Bartók, Frédéric Chopin and Elena Kats-Chernin. Jasmine has recently returned from eight weeks of study in London as the recipient of the D&MV McDonald Scholarship in Music, while Miffy is twice winner of the Royal Over-Seas League Tasmania Branch Prize in Classical Piano. Both are now in their final year of the Bachelor of Music at the University of Tasmania.

Tickets are free but registrations essential as seating is limited.

Arriving at the Hedberg

Please arrive between 12:30pm - 12:45pm via the University of Tasmania entrance to the building on 19 Collins Street Hobart. Please note there is a strict lockout for the concert and no latecomers will be admitted at the request of the musicians.

Mask requirements:

While our mask setting is currently green, which means mask wearing is an individual choice, it is strongly recommended that masks be worn in indoor settings, particularly where physical distancing cannot be maintained.
