Held on the 26th Mar 2022 to
27th Mar 2022
Want to find out more about AMEB? Have you heard the latest of what's on offer? Ever wish you could ask an Examiner something? Do you want to gain some tips for your teaching? Do you want to win stuff? You need to be here!
AMEB will present two Open Days to offer an insight into our inner workings, and as PD opportunities for teachers. Both sessions will include the same content, however Hobart also offers the opportunity to tour the new Hedberg building. Please see below for individual timetables. Each presentation will include the chance to ask questions of the speaker.
We warmly welcome our Federal Theory Editor, Andrew Raiskums, who will talk about all facets of theory at AMEB and you can register for a one-on-one with Andrew to ask your specific theory questions. These sessions will run concurrently with some other syllabus updates so please register for the time you'd prefer (or both if you don't mind). You'll have a minimum of 10 minutes with Andrew, perhaps more depending on demand.
If you're able to join us in Hobart, we'll also hear from our Federal Head of Examining, Fiona Seers, to talk about our newly released violin and brass syllabuses. The fine folks from Modern Musician will be on hand to help with any instrument and resource questions.
These sessions are FREE but registration is essential.
Please let us know about your dietary needs in your registration. To assist with adhering to venue vaccine mandates, we're also asking for you to disclose details of your vaccination status. For more information on what the venues are requiring, please have a read of the Hedberg (UTAS) information here.
