Develop your understanding of society and hone your research and project management skills with Social Science Honours.

This one-year course gives you the opportunity to extend your bachelor’s specialisation in sociology, international relations, or politics and policy, by conceptualising and producing an independent research project.

You will gain advanced research and communication skills by carrying out either project work or an independent piece of research under supervision from our social science experts.

Honours offers exciting opportunities to develop advanced knowledge in social science theory and method, in order to investigate, analyse and find solutions to a range of important social and political issues.

Whether you want to work in community development, foreign affairs, policy design, or social welfare, Social Science Honours is an excellent way to gain the knowledge and expertise to create solutions in the real world.
