Montello Primary School is located near the centre of Burnie in North West Tasmania. It strives to build quality relationships within the local community between students, teachers and parents. Montello Primary recognises parents as the child's first educators and believes in creating partnerships to optimise learning.

In addition to the core learning areas Montello offers a range of support programs such as LIFT, LIL, Literacy Intervention, Keeping Kids Connected, BillyCATS, a Life Skills program, pre-Kinder Learners Program, Physical Education, ICT, Kitchen & Garden, Water Awareness and Learn to Swim programs and Breakfast Club. Montello Primary treats the responsibility of educating children very seriously and encourages both formal and informal opportunities to meet and to build a team approach to improve learning outcomes for all children.
