4th year students have once again built structures out of pasta and glue. Various tests were undertaken including vertical and lateral load testing. The final structures all had to be 1m tall and weigh under 1.5kg inclusive of the base. These were to be tested laterally (simulating wind loads) near the apex. See if you can sport the diagrids, outriggers, tube-in-tube, mega-truss and shear walls used in a variety of creative ways.
