Jazz and Pop Composition and Arranging 2 FCP312

This unit builds on the knowledge gained in FCP31X and continues to develop the skills required for the practice of group arranging and composing with a focus on large jazz and popular music ensembles. Techniques for composition and arranging will be further examined through significant jazz and popular musical works for large ensembles.  These techniques will provide students with the necessary skills for the creation of new and re-imagined works within this context.
