ATAR Clearly-In Rank

Clearly-in Rank

The Clearly-in Rank is the lowest score at which students were granted entry in the first offer round in 2015.

The Clearly-in rank should be used as a guide for entry. Note: entry to some courses requires a combination of criteria (ie. folio, interview, GMAT) not just ATAR alone.

The Bachelor of General Studies is a flexible, interdisciplinary degree that allows students to design their own course by choosing a combination of units based upon personal preference and career goals. It allows students to try university study in an area of interest before selecting a combination of units within the Bachelor of General Studies, and/or to acquire prerequisite knowledge before articulating into another degree. The Bachelor of General Studies is also suitable for students seeking a supported introduction to university study. The first year of study provides academic foundation knowledge and skills and achievement at introductory level in at least two units. Students who meet the entry requirements for other Bachelor degrees can commence in the second year of the four year Bachelor of General Studies degree.

Students are able to articulate into other Bachelor degrees at the end of each semester, depending on results and units completed.

The course will be offered full time or part time at Hobart, Launceston and Cradle Coast and by distance. Note that not all units will be available be distance.
