This unit will develop students' understanding of key mathematical ideas for teaching by engaging them in solving challenging mathematical problems in applied contexts. It will build on existing mathematical understandings, model effective pedagogy, and build the skills, knowledge and confidence to complete subsequent mathematics units successfully.
