What's Next? Your ISLAND Home

We received quite a lot of feedback from ISLAND members who participated in our research in 2019. We are busy working in the background to make the experience easier.

We have put some thought into how to improve our communication with you, our ISLAND members, and build a sense of ‘belonging’ to the project.

In April we will launch the ISLAND Home online platform, a one-stop-shop for all things to do with the ISLAND Project.  We will let you know in coming weeks how to use this new platform.

On your ISLAND Home page you will be able to manage your own contact information, monitor your progress and see (and join) upcoming courses, activities and research.

As our public health campaign ramps up during 2020, ISLAND Home is where ISLAND members can join our research and find out about educational and community-based activities that we recommend. If you have joined the research already, ISLAND Home is where you can see your past activity and access future surveys and your current Dementia Risk Profile.

If you don't want to do the surveys that is fine, you will continue to receive news and updates via this newsletter and occasional invitations unless you ask to be withdrawn.

If you know other people who would be interested in joining ISLAND, please encourage them to sign up at islandproject.utas.edu.au.
