Transitional Nostalgia: Mediating Memory through Objects of Play.

This project proposes a mode of ‘transitional nostalgia’, where creative works mediate a desire to restore and return to the past using the tactile foundation of toys and objects of play. Translating toy objects through installation the work constructs a trigger inviting the viewer to look back at a significant time and place in their own lives.
