Agfest 2024

Invitation to volunteer for HealthStop @ Agfest

Students are invited to provide blood pressure and health checks and run health related activities with patrons at Agfest.

All students studying in the College of Health and Medicine are eligible, however if you have not received a direct invite from your discipline, please register and then contact Dr Kath Ogden Kathryn.ogden@utas.edu.au to notify us of your interest.

Agfest 2024 will be held on 2nd – 4th May. There will be two sessions each day, 8am-12pm and 12pm–4pm. You can indicate which times you are available, indicate more than one if possible. You will be allocated to just one shift unless you indicate that you are willing to attend more than one at registration, and additional support is required.

Agfest is located at Quercus Rural Youth Park, near Carrick, in the North of Tasmania. If you require transport we will put you in touch with other students in your session. There is ample parking. For details on how to access the site please visit the Agfest website.
