Admission requirements

Learn all about our general entry requirements, as well as alternate pathways to university.

Before you begin your application, please check that you meet the relevant entry requirements:

  • General Entry Requirements of the University.
  • Documentation guidelines: As part of your application, you may be asked to provide supporting documentation if you need additional evidence to meet our General Entry Requirements.
  • Selection: Individual courses may have additional requirements, like interviews or auditions, minimum grades in qualifying studies, or course quotas. You can find out more on each course page.

We encourage you to apply for the courses you most want to study. If you don’t meet these requirements right now, we have a number of pathway programs available and will work with you to determine the best pathway for you. These programs will prepare you for university and help you transition into the course you’re interested in.

General Entry Requirements

Documentation guidelines

As part of your application, you may be asked to provide supporting documentation. This will happen if you’re applying for a postgraduate course, or if you need additional evidence to meet the General Entry Requirements or other individual course requirements.

Some courses, like the Bachelor of Paramedic Practice Conversion Pathway, can have unique requirements. You’ll need to make sure you check the individual course page for these.

When you’re applying through the application portal, you’ll be prompted to submit additional documentation. You can save your application, complete your documentation and then return later.

Selection

To be considered for admission to a course you must:

The University will assess your qualifications, including your supporting documentation, as part of the standard assessment process. It takes time to process your application after we receive it. The time taken will vary depending on the type of application and how accurate and complete your application is when you apply.

It is important to note that meeting the University’s admission requirements does not guarantee you entry to the course of your choice.

If you have not met the entry requirements or prerequisites for the course you have applied for, you may be offered a place in an alternative course.
