Application Dates

Early August Applications open for new Applicants.
Early August Applications open for UTAS Scholarships.
5 August Open Day 2018 (South)
11 August Open Day 2018 (North)
12 August Open Day 2018 (North West)
28 September Closing date for on-time undergraduate applications at 5pm.
28 September Closing date for Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at 5pm. Late applications will not be accepted.
30 September Closing date for Master of Psychology (Clinical) (M7L) AND Master of Professional Psychology (M7Q). Late applications will not be accepted
Mid October  Enrolment opens.
Late October  Offer rounds begin and continue through to start of semester (excluding year 12 applicants).
31 October Closing date for Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours (M4Y), Bachelor of Arts with Honours (Psychology) (R4A) AND Bachelor of Science with Honours (Psychology) (S4E). Late applications will not be accepted
31 October Closing date for on-time postgraduate applications at 5pm.
31 October Closing date for UTAS Scholarship Applications (Please note: specific program based HECS waivers remain available).
November Interviews and auditions commence (if required) for Music, Performing Arts and Visual Arts.
19 December First round offers available to Year 12 Tasmanian applicants.
January First round offers made progressively to Year 12 interstate applicants.
January First round of offers made to Tasmanian International Baccalaureate applicants.
9 January Special Consideration applications close. Late applications will not be accepted.
18 January Deadline for Year 12 applicants to accept their offer.
Early February Special Consideration applicants will be advised the outcome of their application.
February Semester 1 commences (refer Key Dates).
March Second week of Semester 1, last offer round.  No further offers for this semester will be made after this date.
April Offer rounds continue for all study periods commencing after 23rd March.
30 June Closing date for Semester 2 Tasmania Scholarships.
July Semester 2 commences (refer Key Dates).

Key Academic Dates

There are a number of key dates that you need to be aware of and you should write down on your calendars/in your diaries.
