The following Education and Teaching courses are available fully online and work with you, your family, your career, and your lifestyle. Our courses are accredited through the Tasmanian Teachers Registration Board and are recognised in all Australian states and territories (except where indicated below).
Develop teaching theory and practical skills online, before practicing them in a safe and supportive online environment. Most courses require 80 days professional experience placements in real classrooms, so you can graduate with the confidence to inspire the next generation.
Bachelor of Education (Primary)
This pre-service degree prepares you for roles in primary teaching from Prep to Year 6. It also provides the opportunity to specialise in a choice of three subject areas including English, Languages, or Mathematics.
Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
Gain the skills and confidence to teach children from birth to age eight. The degree focuses on teaching in professional settings including early childhood centres, kindergartens, and the early years of schooling.
Bachelor of Education (Applied Learning)
Develop your skills and knowledge for teaching in the Technologies areas of private or public schools, Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector, or with private RTOs or training academies.
Associate Degree (Education Support)*
This two-year degree is designed to give you an educational qualification for careers other than teaching students. You will learn aspects of education theory and practice alongside literacy, numeracy and other general education subjects.
Bachelor of Adult and Applied Learning*
This course provides an opportunity for TAFE teachers and workplace trainers to develop their teaching capabilities. Advance your career in settings such as TAFEs, Registered Training Organisations, or government organisations.
* This qualification cannot be used for Teacher Registration purposes.
Master of Teaching
Build on your past studies and experience, to teach in a primary or secondary school setting. Complete your teaching qualification in as little as two years online. You will also be required to undertake 60 days professional experience placements in classrooms in addition to your online study.
